A fast-growing aerospace manufacturer is looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to join its team near Signal Hill, CA. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all environmental compliance programs at the facility.

The Role:

• Organize, implement, and audit all environmental programs and strategies at the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Prepare and coordinate all environmental permits, reports, and related requirements for the facility, including waste, wastewater, and stormwater.
• Complete environmental site inspections and audits, providing recommendations and ensuring follow-up on corrective actions.
• Keep informed of existing and upcoming environmental regulations that may affect operational facilities.
• Act as the point of contact and subject matter expert for both regulatory agencies and operational teams.

The Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a relevant major.
• 5+ years of environmental experience in heavy manufacturing or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, particularly with SCAQMD.
