Job description

Join to apply for the Sr. Environmental Planner role at Flux Resources.

We are currently seeking Environmental Specialists: EHP Specialists, Biologists, Wetland Specialists, Environmental Planners, and Environmental Engineers in support of FEMA disaster relief efforts across the United States.

Pay: $60/hr.

Location: REMOTE

Project: Puerto Rico

What You Will Be Doing

These deployments focus on rebuilding and reconstruction efforts for government-owned infrastructure such as roadways, bridges, highways, city/county buildings, schools, and hospitals. You will assist these entities throughout the FEMA grants application process, including:

  • Scoping environmental/historic issues
  • Reviewing grant applications for compliance
  • Providing technical assistance for grant implementation
  • Documenting compliance and reporting EHP issues and triggers
  • Preparing NEPA documents
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Environmental Science-related field
  • Experience preparing NEPA documents
  • Ability to commit to 6 or 12-month assignments (your choice)
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • US Citizen
