Qualifications

• 7+ years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
• OSHA 30 Hour or equivalent safety training.
• Working knowledge of federal safety and environmental laws (OSHA, EPA).
• Ability to coordinate with outside agencies and contractors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using data/analyze software to create reports and presentations.
• Demonstrated root-cause analysis skills (RCCA, 5-Whys).

Work Schedule: 85 hourly employees in a 24/7 operation. Warehouse operates on 8-hour shifts & Production operates on 12-hour shifts.

Your Day to Day

Supports safe practices in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements. Acts as an OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance resource. Leads or participates in incident investigations (injury, property damage, near-hit, environmental deviations, etc.) and root cause analysis and works with the plant operations team to determine appropriate corrective/preventative action. Perform risk and hazard assessments/inspections to determine employee risk/exposure and suggest/drive actions to mitigate/reduce them.

Requirements

• 7 years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior Safety Specific Training (OSHA 30 Hour, Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, etc.)
• Working knowledge of federal safety and environmental laws (e.g. OSHA, EPA, etc.)
• Ability to work with respective outside agencies and contracted employees.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Ability to use a variety of software applications to analyze, monitor data, create reports, and presentations.
• Demonstrated Root-Cause analysis skills (RCCA, 5-Whys).
