PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $125,700.00-$153,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $97,400.00 - $181,800.00 annually. Compensation decisions are based on skills, experience, and education. If offered, individual qualifications will be considered. Incentives are performance-based and vary by role.

Residency Requirement
Candidates must reside in WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. Washington state residents near Tukwila are expected to visit HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Remote work is available for others in approved locations.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE
As a Sr Enterprise Data & Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA), you’ll shape how BECU uses data for smarter decisions and member-first innovations. You’ll design and deliver Data, BI, and Advanced Analytics solutions that improve services for members.

Collaborating with data teams and leaders, you’ll uncover insights, align business needs with data capabilities, and lead cross-functional data initiatives from concept to impact. Your work will influence strategies and member experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate sessions to translate ideas into data and BI requirements.
• Manage data sourcing, conduct gap analyses, and document metadata.
• Partner with teams to develop data and BI solutions, from ideation to dashboards.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and identify patterns.
• Address data challenges with innovative solutions.
• Ensure data quality through testing and validation.
• Design and maintain data models supporting enterprise initiatives.
• Develop policies, standards, and training for BI tools and data use.
• Create technical documentation and provide stakeholder training.
• Incorporate cybersecurity and compliance into data designs.
• Lead demos and walkthroughs of BI features.
• Mentor team members to improve data fluency and governance.
• Contribute to other duties as needed to support success.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• At least seven years of experience in data management solutions.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and data analysis.
• Experience aligning technical solutions with strategic needs.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Knowledge of BI architecture and tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server, etc.
• Understanding of Cloud Computing practices.
• Familiarity with Azure, DataOps, and agile tools like Azure DevOps.
• Strong project management skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Python, Snowflake, Databricks, and data governance tools.
• Deep understanding of data engineering concepts.
