Job Summary

The Sr. Enterprise Architect - Portfolioplays an integral role in building a holistic view and charter of the company’s technology strategy, processes, and information technology roadmap. The Architect partners with both business and technology groups to ensure that the proposed technical solutions align with the company’s overall objectives, mission & vision, and develops plans to enable delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with Principal Enterprise Architect, Business, and IT leaders to define & develop domain or LOB future state architectures, roadmaps, and migration strategies as a basis for focusing IT activities to maximize business value and in support of business capabilities.
  • Partners with business, IT leaders, other architects, and technology SMEs to elicit and translate ambiguous business and non-functional requirements into a scalable and adaptable architectural solution. Leads the design and modeling of tactical architectures for delivery, development, and support of projects. Provides technical leadership for programs or across a project portfolio. Ensures that business system development efforts comply with strategic architecture principles, standards, and models.
  • Works with peers and IT management to develop and maintain policies, standards, guidelines (guiding principles), reference architectures / patterns, decision frameworks, and metrics to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company.
  • Manages and facilitates architecture and technology decision processes to evaluate project proposals for architectural fit.
  • Mentors and develops the next generation of architects and instill architecture thinking across the enterprise.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. An advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields is preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE: 8+ years of experience with building enterprise architecture roadmaps (with EA methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman etc. is preferred.) Experience architecting end to end business solutions and developing applications in an agile environment is required (in financial services industry preferred.)
  • Knowledge of different types of databases (NoSQL, Relational Data Stores, etc.), Data Architecture, and Data Science/Analytics is required (ADLS, HDI or Databricks is preferred).
  • Experience with cloud first architecture solution delivery experience (Azure preferred.)
  • Knowledge of UML or any Modeling tool. Experience in or knowledge of Micro services architecture, Kubernetes containers.
  • Knowledge of Java, Open JDK, .NET C#, Spark, Angular, HTML5 with Responsive Design, REST, API Gateways.
  • Knowledge of Security principles, authentication, authorization and encryption.
  • Experience in a multi-vendor and offshore model is a plus.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$167,250.00 - $284,250.00
