Rimini Street, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Enterprise Architect with deep ERP experience to design AI-enabled solutions on top of Oracle, SAP, and JD Edwards. You will work remotely with travel to client sites, leading architecture workshops and defining end-to-end ERP modernization patterns.
The role requires 8–10 years in ERP/enterprise transformation with techno-functional expertise, and strong ability to deliver value through automation and agentic AI within client environments.

We are looking for strong Sr. Enterprise Architect Oracle/SAP, Agentic AI Practice with demonstrated experience designing and presenting solutions for SAP, Oracle, and JD Edwards. A seasoned techno-functional solution architect with client-facing consulting experience is needed and the candidates should have exposure to AI, automation, and agentic AI experience, will help us reimagine how enterprise work gets done. This role requires more than standalone AI engineering, chatbot development, data science, platform engineering, or backend development. The ideal candidate combines ERP process expertise with practical AI and automation judgment. Rimini Street has an existing team of AI engineers, designers, and platform resources. What we need now are Solution-focused Enterprise Architects who understand ERP systems and ERP business processes, ERP architecture, integrations, and enterprise transformation. AI sits on top of the ERP. The role will be embedded with enterprise clients, working remotely, with onsite visits as engagements require.
Reporting to the VP of Innovation and Solution Delivery, the Sr. Enterprise Architect Oracle/SAP, Agentic AI Practice works directly with enterprise clients to understand ERP business process problems and help design modern AI-enabled solutions on top of existing ERP systems. The right candidate should understand how systems like SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, and JD Edwards work in real enterprise environments. This person should be able to work with business users, process owners, IT teams, ERP teams, architects, and executives to understand how work happens today and how it should work in the future. The goal is not to replace ERP but to build an intelligent innovation layer over the client’s existing ERP estate using automation, workflows, Agentic UX, AI agents, MCP-style integrations, SAP BTP, SAP Joule, Oracle integration tools, JD Edwards integration patterns, ServiceNow, Azure AI, AWS, Google Cloud, and other enterprise AI platforms where appropriate. The role is platform-agnostic by design. The solution should fit the client’s environment, not force the client into one platform.
This is a Principal-level Enterprise Architect role. We are looking for candidates who can operate independently within complex enterprise client environments. The strongest candidates will have deep ERP experience, strong consulting experience, and enough AI, automation, and agentic AI experience to help clients modernize business work on top of existing ERP systems. We are not looking for AI-only engineers who have no ERP or business process background. 8-10 years of experience in ERP, enterprise systems, solution architecture, technical consulting, or enterprise transformation. AI knowledge is important, but it must sit on top of ERP process knowledge, architecture, consulting experience, and business transformation thinking. Strong experience with at least one major ERP platform: SAP ECC SAP S/4HANA Oracle E-Business Suite Oracle Cloud ERP JD Edwards Strong techno-functional understanding of ERP business processes, such as: Procure-to-pay Order-to-cash Record-to-report Invoice processing Vendor onboarding Customer master Material master Inventory management Demand planning Supply chain planning Manufacturing Plant maintenance Warehouse operations Finance reconciliation Approvals and exception handling Experience working in consulting, systems integration, ERP implementation, ERP support, ERP modernization, advisory, or enterprise transformation. Proven track record working directly with enterprise clients in complex environments. Experience working directly with business stakeholders and IT stakeholders. Experience running or supporting discovery workshops. Experience mapping as-is and to-be business processes. Experience translating business requirements into solution architecture and delivery scope. Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, data flows, security, roles, authorizations, and enterprise release processes. Practical exposure to AI, automation, workflow platforms, RPA, analytics, ServiceNow, SAP BTP, SAP Joule, or agentic AI. Experience supporting proposals, SOWs, delivery estimates, executive presentations, client workshops, and solution roadmaps is strongly preferred. Strongly Preferred Experience Direct SAP and Oracle experience. JD Edwards experience. SAP BTP experience, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, SAP Fiori, CAP, ABAP extensions, APIs, events, workflow, and side-by-side extension patterns. SAP Joule exposure or understanding of SAP’s AI and copilot direction. Understanding of SAP clean-core principles and how to extend SAP without creating unnecessary technical debt. Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud ERP architecture and integration experience. Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle APIs, PL/SQL, workflows, or related Oracle enterprise patterns. Experience with JD Edwards architecture, business functions, integrations, Orchestrator, and legacy modernization. Experience with ServiceNow, App Engine, IntegrationHub, ERP Canvas, Workflow Data Fabric, or enterprise workflow platforms. Experience with AI agents, LLMs, RAG, prompt design, MCP, tool calling, agent orchestration, and AI governance. Experience with Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, Claude, or other enterprise AI platforms.
This is a client-facing role. The right candidate must be able to: Run business and IT discovery conversations. Ask strong process questions. Understand the business problem before jumping to technology. Explain ERP and AI concepts in plain language. Work with CIOs, CFOs, COOs, business process owners, IT leaders, ERP teams, security teams, architects, and developers. Shape use cases into clear scope, value, architecture, and delivery plans. Support proposal and SOW development. Build trust with clients. Stay practical, calm, and outcome-focused in complex enterprise environments.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. ERP consulting and real enterprise transformation experience are more important than the degree alone.
