Job summary

Waters Corporation in Milford, MA is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join our New Product Introduction team. This role will assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro/mechanical problems in a fast-paced development environment, and contribute to daily production requirements both individually and in teams.

You will use basic data collection, provide analysis during new product introductions, and help determine corrective actions for HPLC instrument systems and manufacturing processes,

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical with two years experience.
• High School and additional post secondary education with four years experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read/understand mechanical drawings and follow written procedures
• Understand proper use of common hand tools (ex, drivers, torque wrenches, punches, presses, cutters, etc.)
• Basic understanding of working within the Microsoft Windows Environment (i.e. Navigation and using applications

• Assist production with technical support necessary for the department to meet production schedules in alignment with quality goals.
• Provide leadership within production areas to fully support the production output of those areas.
• Assist in troubleshooting problems associated with systems, instruments, modules, sub-assemblies, processes, tooking and material.
• Provide training to department personnel for assembly, test and operation of new or existing instrument, equipment, or processes.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering to processes and/or assembly documentation.
• Assist in transferring new products, assemblies, equipment and processes from New Product Introduction into long term production areas.
