Sr Engineering Program Manager, Planning & Status Operations - Siri & AIML

Description

As an Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of Siri & AIML operations by managing status reporting, operational processes, and cross-functional communications. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Owning and driving weekly program status reporting, including setup, archival, and communication to cross-functional teams.
  2. Maintaining alignment and accountability across Engineering and EPM partners by setting clear deadlines, sending reminders, and ensuring timely submission of materials.
  3. Partnering with engineering program managers to keep project tracking tools up-to-date and aligned with key deliverables.
  4. Continuously improving workflows within internal tools, including integrating structured data from systems to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
  5. Preparing executive-facing content for weekly organizational meetings, collaborating with leadership to shape messaging and ensure strategic alignment.
  6. Providing operational support (templates and materials) for major planning and milestone events, such as executive reviews and developer conferences, in coordination with release management and cross-functional partners.
  7. Driving consistency across deliverables, timelines, and documentation standards by liaising with software engineering partners and operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software program or project management, with a proven record of leading and successfully shipping multiple complex projects.
  • Strong ability to manage critical project features involving cross-team integration, bringing structure to complexity, and balancing priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Solid knowledge of software development practices, with excellent attention to detail and results-oriented focus across cross-functional efforts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to foster clarity and alignment among diverse partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience shipping AI/ML projects.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools.
  • Experience in building or scaling internal operational processes or reporting frameworks within large organizations.

At Apple, compensation includes base pay, which ranges from $157,000 to $278,900, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits such as medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, educational reimbursement, and more.
