Job summary

Twitch’s Product Core Engineering team seeks a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Android Platform to shape the strategic vision and execution of Twitch’s mobile experiences.

You will lead a talented team delivering core tools, services, and frameworks that empower Builders to innovate on the Android platform. You will partner with product management and other engineering leaders to drive roadmaps, improve quality and performance, and elevate developer experiences across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead.
• Experience shipping Android apps at scale.
• Experience hiring and developing remote engineers under your guidance.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers and other engineering leaders in cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Craft an inspiring strategic vision for your team and forge partnerships with product management and the iOS Platform team to shape Twitch's mobile strategy.
• Architect a bold roadmap and deliver transformative software.

You Have:

• 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead.
• Experience shipping Android apps at scale.
