Falcon For IT offers real-time asset visibility and AI-native automation for IT and security teams providing a unified view into security and IT, allowing to operate under the model of "Ask Answer Act" - ask any question about any asset, get answers back fast, and take decisive action.

About the Role:

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, extend, and maintain automation frameworks, tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of testing, with a particular focus on performance, stress and longevity testing.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for the automation and testing processes to optimize software development, testing and release workflows.

  • Review engineering technical design documents and requirements. Provide plan and strategy on how and where to build in testability.

  • Lead comprehensive testing efforts on all three major platforms—Windows, Mac and Linux – to ensure consistent and reliable performance across different operating systems.

  • Contribute to existing tools, frameworks and related solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams to expand the scope of test coverage.

  • Leverage knowledge of cloud services and containerization to create and manage testing environments, ensuring they are efficient, scalable and aligned with best practices.

  • Oversee testing for system reliability and scalability, ensuring that performance and quality standards are met and proactively identifying areas of improvement.

  • Ability to create and maintain test infrastructure. Build the frameworks and packages required to implement automation.

  • Mentor and lead the automation team, providing guidance, support and opportunities for growth, while fostering high-performing team culture.

What You'll Need:

  • A computer science background or equivalent 10+ years of experience (programming styles, data structures, algorithms, etc.).

  • Exposure in cross-platform testing to ensure consistent performance, reliability and scalability across different operating system.

  • Experience with any/all of the following: Python, C++, Groovy, Bash, PowerShell.

  • Proficient with Networking: protocols, distributed systems, layered architectures.

  • Knowledge of cloud services and containerization technologies.

  • Web Services: JSON, REST, RPC, XML, AWS EC2 & S3.

  • Strong debugging skills: ability to spot design flaws, race conditions and performance bottlenecks in complex architectures.

  • Prior application, OS, web browser or hardware compatibility testing.

  • Computer and/or network security experience/understanding.

Bonus Points:

  • Authored and/or lead successful open-source libraries and projects.

  • Contributions to the open-source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).

  • Exposure to Go, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, GRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
