You will plan and coordinate submissions for safety compliance, support regulatoryForecasts, benchmark safety performance, and engage with regulatory bodies to inform strategic actions and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree in automotive engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive development experience, safety-focused preferred.
• Expertise in automotive regulatory, compliance, and certification.
• Strong research skills and ability to apply engineering principles to safety projects.

• Plan and coordinate submissions for safety compliance and consumer ratings of vehicles
• Support development and updates of vehicle safety regulatory forecasts
• Research and benchmark competitors’ safety performance and optimization strategies
• Monitor and report on federal and state vehicle safety legislation and regulations
• Track and analyze emerging trends in advanced in-vehicle technologies
• Engage with multiple regulatory bodies and industry partners for safety compliance
• Prepare work products on safety matters and advise stakeholders on actions

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Engineer, Regulatory Affairs and Certification, Vehicle Safety to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will focus on vehicle safety regulatory compliance, certification, and strategic forecasting within a dynamic automotive environment. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external industry bodies to help guide safety-related decisions, support compliance readiness, and inform actions tied to evolving regulations and emerging in-vehicle technologies. The position also involves benchmarking competitive safety performance and preparing clear technical work products for leadership and stakeholders.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
