This is a full-time, remote, field-based position where the working hours consist of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Candidates from New Mexico, Arizona, and/or surrounding areas are preferred. This role works closely with other members of the Implementation Team including Project Managers, Educational Services, and Sales to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the implementation process. Responsibilities include leading and performing implementation of Baxter’s Care Communications products and integration of their partners’ applications/systems; leading network architecture, system fail-over, and other technical system design discussions with customer PMO, IT, MIS or bio-med departments, installation contractors, and other trades; working with customer IT departments to assess and evaluate network security needs and develop SOPs for ensuring the integrity of specified customer servers, device infrastructure, and network topology; leading technical aspects of team-based projects, handling multifaceted deployments of advanced features and applications including customized integrations and evolving configurations; performing site surveys, RF surveys, developing system integration plans using multiple vendor products; reviewing system designs to ensure accuracy and performance integrity; weekly documentation of system, network, and server updates; providing continuous improvement feedback; demonstrating a pro-active approach towards safety, health, and quality in compliance with all company, governmental and customer regulations; providing oversight, training and direction to internal and external contractors during implementations. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or a minimum of 3+ years of related server/network engineering experience; willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% (up to 100% on short notice); advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows platforms, SQL, IIS server and associated networked systems; server administration experience with Linux server environment; detailed understanding of common network protocols/architecture and associated security concerns; understanding of back-end network security and Active Directory functionality; understanding of project management fundamentals; ability to lead small teams; ability to lift 50 lbs and have a valid driver’s license; experience configuring, setting up, and debugging PC-based systems. Preferred certifications include Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCDP, CCNP, CWLS, CWNA), wireless certifications (CWNE, CWNP, CWSP, AWLAT, MNAWS, MNAWP, MNCE), and general certifications (MCSE or MCSA, Network+, Security+). May be required to demonstrate expertise in SQL/Scripting/Reporting Engines/Analytics, Networking, Enterprise level hardware, Middleware, HL7, Wireless enterprise networks, RF Principles, Cisco routing and switching technologies, and wireless site assessments. Compensation includes an estimated base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 annually with possible discretionary bonuses.
