Role Overview

CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Engineer for the NG-SIEM Global Serverless Platform team. This team manages automation for our large-scale event data store and search system, aiming to scale to hundreds of PB of data daily while maintaining top-tier SLA and cost efficiency. The role involves building regional control planes, account provisioning systems, and integrations within the Falcon platform, crucial for our high availability and durability goals.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a team of knowledgeable colleagues on platform initiatives
Design, develop, and lead the delivery of new features and solutions
Enhance the scalability and capacity of LogScale fleets, ensuring high availability
Develop supporting services in Go, extending system capabilities
Document technical decisions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
Research and propose new technologies, providing technical guidance
Mentor team members through code reviews, documentation, and design discussions
Monitor production features and troubleshoot critical issues in SaaS environments

Qualifications

Interest or experience in distributed systems and system health monitoring
Strong software development background with pragmatic tradeoff skills
Technical leadership experience in product or service development
Proficiency in functional and object-oriented programming; quick learner of new languages
Proactive attitude, team collaboration skills, and responsibility-taking mindset
Bonus: Experience in Go, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kafka, and large-scale distributed system architecture

Salary range in the U.S.: $135,000 - $215,000 annually, plus incentives, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined based on experience, skills, and location.
