Essential Functions:

1. With limited guidance, manage design projects to meet all time and cost budgets
2. Provide project summaries to HMNA leadership and manage projects through standard Stage Gate process
3. Ensure all project related information remains organized and useful throughout the project lifecycle
4. As a salaried associate, it is expected that all work be completed on-time, regardless of hours clocked for the day/week
5. Establish in-depth knowledge of electrical systems used in various HMNA machine platforms
6. With limited guidance, complete electrical engineering activities in order to complete projects on time and within budget
7. With limited guidance, develop new HMNA electrical assemblies and systems for various machine platforms produced by HMNA
8. With limited guidance, define substitute parts to use in HMNA Electromechanical systems
9. With limited guidance, develop sustainment / improvement to existing HMNA electrical assemblies on various machine platforms produced by HMNA
10. With limited guidance, create electrical schematics and electrical plans for machine platforms produced by HMNA
11. Support HMNA production by answering electrical questions on in-process HMNA machines
12. Create work instructions and Standard Operating procedures for use in various HMNA technical disciplines
13. Assist Order Engineering with standard work to input new orders or modify existing orders
14. Assist Quality Engineering with standard work and RCCA investigations
15. Assist Mechanical Engineering with standard work and engineering projects
16. Assist Manufacturing Engineering with standard work and engineering projects
17. Support various HMNA disciplines by answering engineering questions and requests through the HMNA Engineering Ticket System

Qualifications:

1. Fully capable of understanding and implementing engineering methodology in a professional environment
2. Basic capability in the application of a standard NPD process in a manufacturing environment
3. Fully capable of prioritization of daily tasks based on production support, standard work importance and general project timing
4. Basic capability in implementing Electrical Engineering principles in project tasks and daily work
5. Basic capability in Electrical Engineering processes related to industrial equipment
6. Basic capability in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
7. Basic capability in hands-on troubleshooting of industrial equipment
8. Basic capability in troubleshooting control systems
9. Fully capable of utilizing standard programs in the MS Office suite
10. Basic capability in understanding and operating in SAP or comparable ERP system
11. Ability to travel domestically for up to 2 months
12. Ability to travel internationally for up to 2 months
13. 5-10 years of engineering experience
