Raytheon Industry 4.0 – Connected Factory & Intelligence (CFI&A) has an immediate opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and innovative Automation Systems Engineer (ASE) team member within the Effectors portfolio, focusing on Sustainment of state-of-the-art robotic assembly cells.
The role includes sustaining and continuous improvement of physical automation solutions (robots, PLCs, HMIs, and vision systems) and the accompanying spares & service requirements thereof. The ability to actively manage and adapt to new problems on the factory floor is a critical aspect of the role.
What You Will Learn
This role will merge technical, manufacturing, and business knowledge to drive new innovations across Raytheon. The role has a foundation in controls engineering and will allow for knowledge growth on advanced robotic equipment that is transforming the way that Raytheon assembles product. Learning the intricacies of every custom cell and overcoming the inevitable equipment challenges, including mechanical, electrical, and programming, will be paramount to your success. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative team of automation systems engineers onsite in Tuscan, AZ

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
