Amazon’s Ring team is seeking a Sr. Embedded Software Development Engineer to build firmware for Ring smart home devices.

You will work across the full embedded stack, from drivers and BSP bring-up to application services, debugging hardware-software interactions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. • 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• 7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, efficient code for embedded platforms and has experience working across the full embedded software stack - from low-level drivers and BSP bring-up to application-layer services. You should be comfortable debugging complex hardware-software interactions and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Strong written and
verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams in multiple geographies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
