In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and maintaining embedded software solutions for secure communications systems. You will work in close collaboration withElectrical Circuit and FPGA Designersto deliver robust, high-performance software for cutting‑edge aerospace applications.
Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for COMSEC systems Collaborate closely with Electrical Circuit and FPGA Designers to ensure seamless hardware/software integration Drive work across all phases of the software development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through implementation, code review, verification, and deployment Develop low‑level drivers and firmware for embedded hardware platforms Support hardware bring‑up, debugging, and verification activities Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and documentation Develop and execute software verification and validation plans, including unit, integration, and automated regression tests Implement and maintain secure communications and cryptographic capabilities in compliance with applicable standards Design and integrate device authentication mechanisms and identity management solutions into embedded platforms Support the development and implementation of Zero Trust security principles within embedded system architectures Ensure software development adheres to applicable standards and security requirements
