Base Hourly Compensation Range: $49 - $55. Shift: Must be willing to work either day and/or night shift; 12 hours per day, 2/2/3 Schedule.
Location: DrinkPAK’s Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
Type: Full Time, Hourly.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment.
- Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with DrinkPAK’s defined processes.
- Maintain, repair, and diagnose issues with Siemens-based industrial control systems.
- Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner.
- Keep alert for safety issues and escalate immediately.
- May fill in for production operator, as needed.
- Create and report repairs throughout the shift.
- Complete the required work order paperwork and document parts and material usage.
- Understand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.
- Respond promptly and honor commitments to internal and external customers.
- Make recommendations to continuously improve policies, methods, procedures, and/or products.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment where required.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance to ensure equipment and facility uptime.
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of Siemens Automation (TIA) architecture is preferred.
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation, or other similar manufacturing-related specialization.
- At least 10+ years of food/beverage manufacturing experience required.
- Beverage filling maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to program temperature controllers, Honeywell controllers, AC inverters, DC controllers, and PLC knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for safe performance of assigned duties.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment electrically, hydraulically, pneumatically, electro-mechanically, and mechanically.
- Ability to install, inspect, repair, and maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and associated systems of all production and supporting equipment safely.
- Demonstrate effective communication and resolution across multiple departments.
- Adaptability to react appropriately to unexpected changes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of the plant or machine center.
- Safety, continuous improvement, and solution-driven mindset.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
