Position: Sr. Electro Mechanic

Pay Rate: $31.34 - 42.14 / HR

Shift: 1st Shift (also available: 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Job Summary

The Reliability Technician will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment. This role requires independent judgment to diagnose and resolve issues, significantly impacting production efficiency and costs. Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance is paramount. Multiple shifts are available.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform daily inspections to identify safety hazards, malfunctions, or issues affecting productivity or quality.
  2. Diagnose equipment faults and determine necessary repairs using appropriate tools and instruments.
  3. Disassemble and replace defective parts, adhering to safety protocols.
  4. Reassemble equipment and conduct tests to ensure proper operation.
  5. Conduct routine maintenance such as lubrication, belt replacement, and cleaning.
  6. Monitor equipment performance to identify trends related to breakdowns or downtime.
  7. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
  8. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex equipment issues.
  9. Maintain and order inventory of replacement parts.
  10. Stay informed about technological advancements to improve maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in industrial maintenance or completion of an apprenticeship program.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical principles.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Familiarity with automated systems and controls is desirable.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools is advantageous.
  • Physically capable of strenuous tasks involving lifting, bending, and climbing.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education.
