Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager for a reputable multi-disciplinary engineering firm in Dallas. Lead electrical design for complex projects from concept to completion, coordinating with staff engineers and clients.

The candidate should have a P.E. license, a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Hybrid work options and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure required.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• AutoCAD & Revit experience.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Expertise in all aspects of building electrical design such as lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm.

Responsibilities

• Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases of process.
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for the electrical designs aspects of buildings.
• Coordinating project electrical requirements with each client as well as consultants both in-houst and outside
• Perform code reviews
• Oversee projects and technicians
• Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects
• Work independently as well as in a multi-discipline team working closely to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports
