Sr Electrical Engineer - Aircraft Power & Subsystems

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, specializing in designing, integrating, testing, certifying, and supporting high-performance aircraft systems. SNC has a rich history of innovation in aerospace and defense, focusing now on modernizing the U.S. Air Force’s Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) mission. Join us to work on next-generation aircraft trusted by top U.S. defense leadership.

As an electrical engineer, you will research, design, develop, test, and improve cutting-edge electronic products and systems, from analog/digital circuits to fully integrated systems. You will serve as a Liaison Engineer across all IPTs within the SAOC program, supporting operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, and managing systems including the 747-800 weapon system, ground support equipment, and lab systems.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with typically 10+ years of relevant experience or higher education substitution.
  • Effective communication skills for complex regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with ITAR, EAR, FTR regulations and interpreting federal rules.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Proficient knowledge of ITAR & EAR concepts, customs processes, and compliance.
  • Experience with OCR EASE, DTRADE/DECCS, SNAP-R, Customs ACE, and export control classifications.
  • Experience with commercial aircraft systems.
  • Active Top Secret clearance preferred.
