Sr Electrical Engineer - Aircraft Power & Subsystems

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, specializing in designing, integrating, testing, certifying, and supporting high-performance aircraft systems. SNC has a rich history of innovation in aerospace and defense, focusing now on modernizing the U.S. Air Force’s Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) mission. As an electrical engineer, you will research, design, develop, test, and improve cutting-edge electronic products and systems, from analog/digital circuits to fully integrated systems. You will serve as a Liaison Engineer across all IPTs within the SAOC program, supporting operations, maintenance, and engineering teams, and managing systems including the 747-800 weapon system, ground support equipment, and lab systems.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with typically 10+ years of relevant experience or higher education substitution.
• Effective communication skills for complex regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ITAR, EAR, FTR regulations and interpreting federal rules.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Proficient knowledge of ITAR & EAR concepts, customs processes, and compliance.
• Experience with OCR EASE, DTRADE/DECCS, SNAP-R, Customs ACE, and export control classifications.
• Experience with commercial aircraft systems.
• Active Top Secret clearance preferred.
