Job description

Senior, hands-on electrical engineer responsible for end-to-end PCB layout and design for complex, high-reliability hardware. This role owns board execution from concept through release, partnering closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance, manufacturable designs in fast-paced development environments.

Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Execute full PCB layout cycles including placement, routing, reviews, and release
• Design multilayer, HDI, rigid-flex, and flex PCBs for space, weight, and thermal constraints
• Define stackups, impedance targets, and signal integrity constraints
• Apply DFM/DFA best practices and support high-volume manufacturability
• Generate fabrication drawings, BOMs, ECOs, and release documentation
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly vendors to validate designs
• Troubleshoot and resolve PCB performance, reliability, and manufacturability issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience with 2+ years of PCB layout ownership
• Strong proficiency with Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro/OrCAD
• Deep knowledge of high-speed PCB design, impedance control, and signal integrity
• Experience with HDI, blind/buried vias, back-drilling, and rigid-flex designs
• Ability to manage complex designs independently from concept to release
• U.S. Person status required due to ITAR regulations
