Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in Pittsburgh to work on innovative projects, including semiconductor manufacturing and data center facilities. You will use AutoCAD and Revit for electrical power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.

The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in electrical design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a working knowledge of Revit. This is a contract-to-hire position that offers an exciting opportunity to mentor junior team members and deliver complex design packages.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in design utilizing 3-D modeling/drafting.
• At least 1 year of Revit Design Experience.
• 3 years of semiconductor experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical systems.
• Create layouts, sketches, and models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Develop staffing plans based on project deliverables and schedules.

We're looking for a senior electrical designer in (location) who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' businesses. Join us, and you'll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You'll thrive as you perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our clients' advanced facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, you'll create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files.

Our designers are responsible for the delivery of complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads and form the core of our electrical delivery team. You'll also develop staffing plans based on deliverables to be produced and the project schedule; gain familiarity with the clients' expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks; mentor subordinates; and provide guidance to less experienced designers / drafters.
