Rapiscan Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to design and analyze complex data-processing, communication, and electrical subsystems for radiation detection products. You will mentor junior team members and help establish engineering best practices across the group.
You will develop schematics, PCB layouts, and embedded circuits, collaborate cross-functionally, and support production and field activities while traveling up to 15% as needed.

As the Sr. Electrical Design Engineer, you will design and analyze complex data-processing, communication, and electrical systems used in our radiation detection products. Working with a cross-functional team, you will conduct research, develop test methods, design custom printed circuit boards, and provide production and field support as needed. You will also provide technical guidance to junior electrical engineers and interns and help establish and share engineering best practices across the team.

Pay may range from $135,000 to $150,000 annually.
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
