Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer - remote with 50% travel required

Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off.

Six months off per year!

Oil & Gas industry experience and field Automation PLC/HMI programming experience strongly preferred!

Key Qualifications:

1. Field automation and controls programming and troubleshooting experience within an O&G, Mining or similar control systems environment.
2. Redlion Da30/G07, E3, Roc 800, FB107, FB3000, Oleumtech DH1/DH3, FreeWave radios, Fisher electric actuators.
3. Tank probe calibrations. Updating programming in controllers and HMI’s to new upgrades and compatibility with SCADA networks.
4. Drilling, Frac, Pipeline, and other automation processes in the field.
5. Programming in SCADApack/Schneider PLC's, Redlion, EBpro and ABB Totalflow.
6. ABB Totalflow/RMC and Beijer HMI's, FreeWave radios in the field.
7. Oil & Natural Gas/Pipeline operations.
8. Cygnet/Ignition SCADA.
9. Roc 800, FB107, FB3000.
10. RMC/ Totalflow.
11. Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
12. Experience leading and executing Allen Bradley PLC-based control system projects in a field environment (O&G preferred).
13. Expertise in designing control system architectures, with familiarity in Siemens Simatic 505 hardware.
14. Skilled in troubleshooting legacy hardware and participating in system migrations to advanced PLCs and HMIs.
15. Ability to design secure control system networks.
16. Proficient in mentoring and training engineers and managing projects from inception to completion.
17. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface directly with clients and stakeholders.
18. Knowledgeable in oil & gas, mining, mission-critical infrastructure, and water treatment systems.
19. A four-year technical degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience with Simatic 505 Hardware and AB ControlLogix, RSLogix PLC's / HMI's.
2. Field PLC programming in an oil and gas, mining or similar control systems environment.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work collaboratively across diverse teams.
