Job summary

enVista in Willowbrook, IL is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to design, build, and commission automation solutions across conveyors, robotics, and material handling. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning and handoff to customers.

This role requires PLC and HMI programming experience (Allen-Bradley required; Beckhoff or Siemens a plus), AutoCAD electrical schematics, and field support during installation. A hybrid schedule based in Willowbrook is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of controls engineering experience.
• PLC programming with Allen-Bradley required; Beckhoff or Siemens a plus.
• HMI development with Allen-Bradley required; Beckhoff or Ignition a plus.
• AutoCAD experience with electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Experience in material handling environments (conveyors, robotics).
• Barcode scanning systems experience (Cognex a plus).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Hybrid schedule based in Willowbrook office.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At enVista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $120,000.
