Job summary

The Fountain Group in Raynham, MA is seeking an EHS Specialist for a 9‑month, 100% onsite assignment. You will provide occupational safety and industrial hygiene support within a pharmaceutical MedTech EHS system.

You will develop and maintain multiple EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, support investigations, and perform IH sampling, all while driving training and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in regulated environments.
• Solid knowledge of chemical management and hazardous substances.
• Proficient in EHS risk assessment methodologies and MOC processes.
• Experience with emergency response and EHS project management.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local levels.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and industrial hygiene support within a MedTech EHS system.
• Support programs for chemical management, machine safety, and ergonomics.
• Develop and maintain Hazard Communication, LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, and Change Management.
• Conduct risk assessments, JSAs, and workplace inspections.
• Assist in injury investigations, CAPA, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Perform industrial hygiene sampling for chemicals, noise, and exposures.
• Support Permit to Work and LOTO implementations, training, audits, and inspections.
• Lead EHS projects on machine guarding, ergonomics, SIF risk reduction, and facility safety.
• Provide EHS training and emergency response support; track metrics.

Job Description

• Provide occupational safety and industrial hygiene support within a pharmaceutical MedTech EHS Management System.
• Support EHS programs covering chemical management, machine safety, warehouse/dock safety, ergonomics, contractor safety, powered industrial vehicles, and emergency preparedness.
• Develop, review, and maintain EHS programs including Hazard Communication, LOTO/Hazardous Energy Control, Confined Space, Hot Work, Fire Prevention, Machine Safety, Warehouse Safety, Chemical Inventory, and Management of Change.
• Conduct ergonomic and machine safety risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), workplace inspections, and EHS program assessments.
• Support injury/incident investigations, CAPA development, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Conduct industrial hygiene sampling for chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients, noise, and other workplace exposures.
• Support Permit to Work and LOTO program implementation, training, audits, and inspections.
• Manage EHS projects related to machine guarding, ergonomics, SIF risk reduction, and facility safety.
• Provide EHS training, emergency response support, regulatory assessments, and EHS metrics/reporting.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Degree in EHS, Engineering, Science, or related field preferred.
