About the role:

As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Sr. Manager, you will be in charge of crafting and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for medium to large-sized clients. This is a remote role with preference in Central & East Coast time zones. Travel is about 15-20%.

What you’ll do:

  1. Promote a positive and proactive culture to influence customers and ensure compliance.
  2. Develop, implement, and review playbooks and procedures to ensure Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives drive program consistency and efficiency.
  3. Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
  4. Track operational and safety risks, developing and managing complex strategic risk management strategies.
  5. Monitor injury, illness, and incident reports, identifying and implementing ways to reduce risk.
  6. Work with high-profile customers to identify potential concerns and troubleshoot solutions.
  7. Monitor Health, Safety and Environmental regulatory compliance within the account.
  8. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  9. Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
  10. Perform internal audits and inspections, making recommendations for implementation of engineering controls.
  11. Ensure vendor QHSE pre-qualification and onboarding requirements are adhered to.
  12. Responsible for training development and delivery where required.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert in complex QHSE topics.
  14. Implement vendor quality agreements in line with CBRE life sciences requirements.

What you’ll need:

  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  2. Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Disclaimers:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. The pay range is about $120,000 to $135,000 annual base range plus 10% target bonus.
