Duration: 12 months Contract to Full-Time

Engineer, Software Sr (Dynatrace Systems Engineer) - 12 months Contract to Full-Time - Hybrid Role DMV Only (Weekly Once In-person meeting in Columbia Office) - Two Interviews (One Virtual and One In-person)

• The client is looking for a Sr. Systems Dynatrace Engineer to support monitoring for bridge applications, including Dynatrace and a new proof-of-concept monitoring tool.
• The core need is hands-on Dynatrace expertise: configuring and optimizing monitoring, building dashboards, health checks and alerts, tuning noise/false positives, and using APM, PurePath, Synthetic monitoring and RUM.
• They require strong systems engineering experience plus mandatory Azure, Prometheus and Linux skills, with the JD also emphasizing hybrid Windows/Linux infrastructure and AWS cloud visibility.
• The role must monitor batch jobs and proactively catch system or application performance issues before they hit production.
• This person will also provide monitoring insights during incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• A healthcare claims background is required, so the ideal candidate combines deep Dynatrace observability skills with relevant domain and infrastructure experience.
