Job summary

Harris Health in Houston seeks a Senior Drug Replacement Analyst to oversee enrollment in drug manufacturer Patient Assistance Programs and manage all records from start to finish.

You will coordinate with hospital staff, patients and drug manufacturers to maximize free program support and reduce pharmaceutical costs; you will train the Drug Replacement Analyst and assist the Drug Replacement Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business field or healthcare administration preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• Three years of work experience in healthcare or reimbursement; advanced Excel and reporting skills preferred.
• One year of management/lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Drug Replacement Analyst is responsible for overseeing the enrollment of patients in drug manufacturer's Patient Assistance Programs and managing all records and paperwork associated with the process from beginning to end. The position requires interaction with various hospital staff, patients and drug manufactures to ensure maximized drug replacement to decrease the pharmaceutical expenses for the Hospital District by utilizing free Program Assistance Programs. The Senior Drug Replacement Analyst provides support and training for the Drug Replacement Analyst (DRA) and will assist the Drug Replacement Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degrees: Bachelor's Degree; Business degree or Healthcare Administration preferred
• School Education: HS diploma/GED
• Licenses & Certifications: Registered Pharmacy Tech required
• Work Experience: Three (3) Years Work Experience in healthcare or reimbursement; (Advanced Excel and Reporting Skills Preferred)
• Management Experience: One (1) Year of Management Experience in management or lead experience (preferred)
