Sr Distribution Admin Logistics

Location: Springdale, AR 72764

Pay Rate: $15/hr - $18/hr

Shift Timings: 08:00AM - 05:00PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description (JD):
  • The Logistics Claims Senior Specialist plays a vital role in managing and resolving product-related claims, such as overages, shortages, damages, and refusals reported by carriers at the time of delivery.
  • Handling an annualized total of $100 million in our Poultry Prepared Division, the role demands accurate and timely evaluations and disposition decisions to prevent delays and reduce carrier accessorial fees, thereby impacting operational costs and logistics efficiency.
  • The Specialist primarily works on a call center, communicating with drivers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • This includes following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while working with teams such as Transportation Operations, FSQA, Plant Operations, Shipping, Customer Service, Warehousing, Product Movement, Deductions, and Sustainability.
  • The role involves managing active worklists, updating transportation and financial systems, and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Responsibilities also include validating and processing donation receipts, forwarding them to Deductions and Sustainability teams, and overseeing accessorial payments related to weekly cases, ensuring carrier payment expectations are met per contractual agreements.
  • Obtaining and validating Proof of Delivery (POD) for each case is crucial.
  • The Specialist maintains and updates worklists in High Radius, performs daily audits for accuracy, and reports findings in Power BI. These reports are used by Shipping locations and Transportation, forming a foundation for KPIs in the Distribution division scorecards.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Candidate with or pursuing a BA degree is a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of office clerical experience required; 3 years preferred.
  • Experience in Logistics, especially handling OS&D claims or customer service, is highly valuable.
  • Data collection and analysis experience is advantageous.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with High Radius system.
  • Ability to interpret Power BI reports.
  • Experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM), TES, and DB2 Sessions.
  • Experience with call center technology and software such as Five9.
