Sr. Director Supply Chain Operations - MDO

The Sr. Director - Supply Chain will lead and develop end-to-end solutions by driving strategy and execution for a complex business unit within the Supply Chain. This individual will oversee a large functional team within Supply Chain, focusing on increasing supply chain effectiveness and managing all execution aspects, including strategy, cost control, operational efficiency, productivity, people development, and support for retail stores and customers.

The Sr. Director works with cross-functional partners across the Supply Chain, Distribution network, Field Operations, Merchandising, and IT, and manages relationships with third-party providers. Strong executive communication skills, change management ability, process improvement expertise, and results delivery in large-scale units are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Designs initiatives and develops strategies to increase Supply Chain effectiveness (20%).
  2. Develops end-to-end solutions with high-level strategic thinking (20%).
  3. Builds plans for sustainability and long-term success (15%).
  4. Reviews financial performance, safety, morale, service, and inventory levels (15%).
  5. Builds relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure product availability (15%).
  6. Manages and executes process improvements (15%).
Management & Travel

Typically reports to a Vice President of Supply Chain and manages a department or team. Travel requirements are approximately 50% overnight travel.

Physical & Working Conditions

Primarily seated in a comfortable indoor environment, with occasional light movement. Conditions are generally non-objectionable.

Qualifications
Minimum
  • Must be 18+ and legally permitted to work in the U.S.
Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • 10+ years of Supply Chain experience
  • APICS certification
  • Leadership experience in Field Distribution Centers
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience
