About The Role
The Senior Director of Supply Chain is responsible for executing the supply chain activities for CG Oncology’s investigational products with a focus on vial to patient clinical trial operations and logistics. This role partners closely with senior leadership to manage contract packaging, procurement, and supply chain and logistics capabilities as the Company executes on the global product commercialization plans

Essential Functions
- Establishes, oversees, and manages the Supply Chain Group to communicate both internally and externally to provide for investigational drug products relevant to clinical trials.
- Oversees forecast planning and inventory management of all drug products in the pipeline.
- Establishes key Supply Chain interfaces with Chemistry Manufacturing Control (CMC), Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, and Financial Planning and Analysis to align both the operational and financial expectations.
- Develops and manages budgets for responsible cost center.
- Supports and encourages communication to all internal departments regarding logistics and scheduling; actively build and maintain relationships within and across functions.
- Partners and collaborates with other senior management to achieve and continually maintain maximum operational efficiency, interdepartmental coordination, and initiative / projects prioritization.
- Initiates and participates in strategy discussions (at departmental, global and partner levels) to ensure that decisions align with agreed upon business direction and processes.
- Serves as the lead/Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply and distribution on commercial planning teams and other forums as appropriate and assigned.
- Initiates and coordinates quality improvements, operational excellence techniques, business process design, budget analyses and cost reduction processes/programs to ensure that the most effective ‘best practices’ are in place.
- Oversees product purchasing and planning at contract manufacturing and logistic suppliers. Includes establishment and oversight of rolling forecasts for clinical and commercial demand as required.
- Develops and prepares long and short-range supply plans; negotiate, create, review, and oversee supply agreements with vendors and partners; establish and implement inventory policy and materials risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensures that Supply Chain complies with all supply and distribution corporate policies.
- Prepares management reports, metrics, presentations, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and communicate functional area performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant/scientific field.
- 10+ years of progressively increasing managerial experience in supply chain and a production environment.
- Experience in managing and executing contract packaging and cold chain distribution
- Ability to travel to vendor / partner sites globally and attend meetings, seminars and training sessions as required.
