Intel in the United States is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and architects across firmware, drivers, OS, and applications. You will drive cross-layer software initiatives, ensure high-quality deliverables, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.

In this role, you will define objectives, mentor staff, and coordinate with hardware, validation, architecture, and product teams to align with Intel's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics.
• 20+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of direct people-management experience leading software engineering teams.
• Proven experience delivering complex software products through the full development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, validation, release, and support).
• Strong technical depth in Systems software, Firmware, GPU/graphics software, AI/ML software, Cloud or distributed systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics
• 20+ years of software development experience.

• Strong technical depth in relevant domains such as:
  • Systems software
  • Firmware
  • GPU/graphics software
  • AI/ML software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong C/C++ expertise.
• Experience with device drivers (KMD/UMD).
• Knowledge of graphics APIs such as:
  • DirectX
  • Vulkan
  • OpenGL
• Experience with GPU architecture, compiler technology, runtime software, or graphics stacks.
• Experience working with hardware bring-up, emulation, validation, and silicon enablement.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $271,620.00-383,460.00 USD

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
