Position Overview

The Sr. Director, Small Business & Consumer Operations is a strategist who understands the overarching vision for the company's consumer operations. They determine the best way to execute organizational goals using their extensive experience, creativity, and judgment. They utilize industry best practices and are detail-oriented, capable of evaluating practices and procedures to ensure quality outcomes and a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop strategic plans, set goals, and budgets aligned with the company's mission, values, business model, and Customer Centric Guiding Principles.
  2. Act as the Chief of Staff for Central Banking Operations.
  3. Support the Central Banking Operations teams through audits, regulatory exams, and RCSA.
  4. Support incident management, track remediation actions, and oversee KPI and KRI reporting.
  5. Provide governance oversight for transaction and block codes.
  6. Support and develop vendor relationships and mailroom support.
  7. Oversee the implementation of strategic plans and initiatives, ensuring progress toward divisional and departmental goals related to finance, customer centricity, operational processes and controls, risk management, and human capital.
  8. Assess risks in servicing processes, review control effectiveness, and improve processes for better customer experience and stronger risk management.
  9. Identify structural gaps in HR, policies, procedures, processes, and technology; lead business unit managers in root cause analysis and solutions.
  10. Prevent operational losses through risk oversight strategies and guidance on effective controls.
  11. Perform manpower and staff adequacy analyses and develop job descriptions to support the bank’s growth.
  12. Develop succession plans, identify successors, and provide training for growth.
Qualifications

To perform this role successfully, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or related field (Required)
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field (Preferred)
  • 12+ years of relevant banking or loan operations experience (Required)
  • 9+ years leading large cross-functional teams (Required)
