The Keller Group is supporting a well respected, growing client with their search for a Senior Director of Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting & Systems. This role reports to the CFO and oversees consolidated financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, treasury and financial systems integration. They will also have the opportunity to lead company wide initiatives to streamline reporting, optimize ERP systems, and drive automation.

This is a remote Arizona based position with occasional onsite meetings at the Phoenix office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead consolidated financial reporting and ensure timely, accurate results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee financial systems transformation including automation and ERP optimization to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and implement technical accounting policies, ensuring consistent application of complex standards.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and performance reporting for executive leadership and external parties.
• Direct cash flow forecasting and balance sheet planning to align with strategic and capital objectives.
• Act as the liaison for external audits and ensure audit readiness company wide.
• Maintain strong internal controls in collaboration with IT and internal audit function.
• Oversee tax coordination to ensure timely and accurate compliance and planning.
• Lead strategic projects that leverage systems and process innovation.
• Maintain and evolve financial reporting policies to align with regulatory and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required and MBA preferred.
• CPA required and public accounting experience highly preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing or technology environment with 5 years of management experience.
• Expertise in GAAP and technical accounting.
• Proven success with ERP system transitions and finance digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit processes.
• Executive-level communication and leadership skills
