Job Summary

The Senior Director of Medical Affairs will provide urologic expertise to guide Medical Affairs activities related to UroGen’s products and disease areas, including UGN-102/non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and UGN-101 (Jelmyto)/upper tract urothelial carcinoma, as well as other relevant areas, under the supervision of the VP, Medical Affairs. This role involves operational and strategic leadership to achieve Medical Affairs goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and align medical affairs strategies and tactics with company objectives and cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and execute activities such as conference planning, advisory boards, publication planning, field force training, review of promotional materials, HEOR analysis, and lifecycle management planning.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Science Liaison Team to develop medical education activities, presentations, and training to enhance disease and product knowledge, and participate in medical and payer meetings.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in Urologic Oncology.
  • Build and sustain productive relationships within the organization, including Commercial, Market Access, Sales, Clinical Development, and R&D teams, to represent Medical Affairs strategies.
  • Identify data gaps and propose solutions to address them.
  • Participate in the Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) process and Medical Education Grant reviews.
  • Ensure all activities comply with UroGen’s policies and guidelines.
List Of Qualifications
  • MD or DO required; Board Certified in Urology preferred.
  • At least 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, preferably in Urology and Oncology.
  • Highly collaborative and proactive team player.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
