The Senior Director, Global Business Operations - Advanced Capabilities COE Lead, oversees the Innovation and Process Excellence COE (also known as the Advanced Capabilities CoE) and Incubator to identify, pilot, and scale emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, automation, advanced analytics) that unlock new value for Finance. This person holds a pivotal leadership role influencing process excellence and digital leadership across the GBO organization globally. This leader will serve as the primary technology and process excellence point of contact for GBO globally including the GBO senior leadership. The Senior Director will be the primary GBO partner to the BI&T organization ensuring the development and implementation of a technology roadmap for the function. This leader will translate GBO strategic priorities into a clear performance reporting, analytics and capabilities roadmap, oversee end‑to‑end delivery, and ensure sustainable operations leveraging a Hyderabad‑based team. The position accelerates digital proficiency and AI utilization across Finance, partnering with BI&T to stand up scalable products, governed processes, and measurable value realization. This leader will also serve as a player‑coach, driving change and enterprise strategy across various US‑based stakeholders and teams.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Strategy & Roadmap: Partner with the Head of GBO in Hyderabad and the GBO LT to define the multi‑year performance reporting and decision analytics/capabilities roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities and initiatives, investment cycles, and risk posture for GBO globally.
  • Innovation Incubator: Establish and lead an Innovation Incubator for GBO across the world, in consultation with the Head of GBO — scanning emerging technologies, prioritizing high‑impact use cases, and working with BI&T to convert successful pilots into production capabilities.
  • Product Ownership & Delivery: Act as business product owner for Finance analytics platforms/workflows and AI solutions; prioritize features, write problem statements, and manage backlogs with BI&T; ensuring secure, compliant delivery.
  • Portfolio & Governance: Key stakeholder with portfolio governance and prioritization process for GBO ensuring capabilities, benefits and eAorts against targets are delivered.
  • Data Science Capabilities: This leader will be responsible to stand up a data science team in Hyderabad, design and develop their charter and transform this into a SWAT capability to operate across various finance teams.
  • EPM: This leader will be responsible for working closely with the EPM leads, GPOs and Data & Digital Strategy Leads to ensure optimal design and implementation of the EPM, Data and Digital framework.
  • Post‑implementation governance and operations: Manage the governance, operations and cadence for all GPOs, Data, Digital & EPM related activities.
  • Data & Digital Strategy: Partner with GBO leaders and team in designing, scaling, taking forward, enhancing and driving a consistent data and digital strategy for GBO.
  • BI&T Engagement: Manage the relationship between the GBO and BIT& organizations to ensure technology needs of the GBO are adequately met.
  • Senior leadership partnership: Closely partner with the SVP and VP of Enterprise IT and other BIT leaders to ensure the above goals are met.
  • Sustainment & Run Operations: Establish a robust build‑to‑run model that utilizes a Hyderabad‑based team to operate and sustain capabilities post‑implementation, including championing continuous improvement across GBO globally.
  • Partner ecosystem: Create an ecosystem of external partners to supplement Hyderabad team, including strategy for leveraging company partnerships with hyper‑scalers (e.g., AWS) Adoption, Enablement & Change Management: Drive user adoption and proficiency through training, communication, and role‑based enablement; embed Finance Excellence learning artifacts to build digital proficiency and business acumen.
  • Data & Analytics Value Realization: Define data flows, value streams and value frameworks (eAiciency, accuracy, cycle‑time, decision quality); instrument products for usage/impact analytics; publish quarterly value reports.
  • Operating Model & Ways of Working: Formalize engagement models between GBO, BI&T, and external partners; clarify RACI across discovery, build, and run.
  • Risk, Compliance & Security: Partner with Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Internal Audit/Controls to align solutions with policies; ensure auditability and resilient operations.
  • Budget, Vendor & Contract Management: Own capability budgets, contracts, and vendor performance; optimize via automation, AI, re‑use, and managed services leverage.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree is required; Masters, CA, MBA, PhD is preferred.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years in Finance or BI/Analytics experience is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) plus years of experience leading cross‑functional product or capability portfolios is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of technology and digital leadership in finance.
  • Proven track record translating business strategy into digital roadmaps and delivering scalable, secure solutions.
  • Experience establishing offshore/nearshore run models (preferably Hyderabad).
  • Fluency in data/analytics platforms (data lake/warehouse, visualization, ML/AI enablement), and product management practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders; excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Inclination and intent to work in the new operating model, working with a team based in the BMS Hyderabad offices.
Compensation Overview

Princeton - NJ - US: $222,620 - $269,757 The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full‑time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully — carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

  • U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.
  • Non‑exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.
  • Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time‑off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.
  • Eligible employees also enjoy an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
