The Sr Director, Enterprise Strategy leads Campbell’s Enterprise Strategy function and is responsible for the successful execution of critical strategic processes and initiatives. This role will be expected to drive business performance by developing compelling, data-driven insights and recommendations, and serving as a strategic thought partner to business leaders. Primary responsibilities of the role include leading Campbell’s Board of Directors’ (BOD) meeting process and content – working side by side with Campbell’s CEO and key Operating Committee members to plan for the 6 annual BOD meetings – as well as leading Campbell’s strategic planning process, including an annual refresh of the enterprise Situation Analysis, Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and Strategic Contingencies. In addition, the role leads cross-functional initiatives to execute against enterprise and divisional strategies. The role will directly manage a team of two strategy resources to support the delivery of these priorities. This is a highly visible role that reports to the SVP, Corporate Strategy and Development and involves frequent interaction with Senior Management, including the CEO and Operating Committee members, as well as cross-divisional leadership. A partnership-led, service-oriented mindset will be required to build and sustain key relationships to make this role successful in driving our enterprise strategies forward. This role will be based out of Camden, NJ. Limited travel will be required to other locations.
Primary Job Responsibilities

B.A./B.S. (business‑related field preferred, not required); MBA strongly preferred Minimum of 10+ years related experience post-MBA (or minimum of 12+ years related experience post‑Bachelor’s degree) in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, project management, business operations, and/or finance Superior analytical and quantitative skills; ability to draw conclusions from complex data Capacity to work collaboratively as well as independently with cross‑functional teams with minimal direct supervision; Must be a self‑starter and take initiative without direct instruction Poised, articulate presentation and facilitation skills, unafraid to raise issues and contrary opinions to executive leadership Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated leadership Ability to influence others and drive complex problems toward resolution and adoption Exhibited ability to scope, plan, and execute large scale, complex projects Strong organizational awareness – knows how to read organizational dynamics at the senior levels and navigate stakeholders Strong listening skills – seeks to understand and spends time on learning history/context before looking to drive change Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to flex approach to change direction as needed Demonstrated discretion and independent judgment in handling of confidential information and matters of significance Having a working knowledge of the Consumer Products / Food industry is necessary to be most effective in role. Ability to quickly learn and influence key business drivers is a critical success factor
The target base salary range for this full‑time, salaried position is between $220,200-$302,800. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
