Job summary

Dexcom, a leader in CGM technology, seeks a Senior Director of Software Engineering for Consumer Applications to guide the portfolio, strategy, and delivery of customer-facing software at scale.

You will build and mentor cross-functional teams, implement modern practices (CI/CD, automated testing, AI-enabled workflows), and collaborate with architecture and platform leaders to infuse data and AI into future product experiences.

Meet The Team

Reporting to the Head of Software, the Senior Director of Software Engineering for Consumer Applications will lead Dexcom’s consumer software application portfolio, driving the strategy, development, delivery, and lifecycle management of customer-facing digital products and services.

As part of Dexcom’s evolving Product Operating Model, this role will build and lead high-performing cross-functional software teams with clear ownership of product outcomes, software quality, reliability, and delivery execution.

• You have extensive experience leading large-scale software engineering organizations delivering consumer software products
• You have deep expertise across mobile applications, cloud-native architectures, APIs, digital ecosystems, and modern software delivery practices
• You have demonstrated success delivering highly available, high-quality software to large user populations
• You have experience integrating AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics into customer-facing products or engineering workflows
