Sr Director Commercial Operations, Benelux and Nordics

Meet the Team:

Join our dynamic and innovative team at Dexcom, where we are committed to transforming diabetes care and management. As the Commercial Operations Senior Director for Benelux & Nordics, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and adoption of our continuous glucose monitoring technology in these key markets. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate with various departments to achieve our ambitious goals. Where You Come In:

You will lead and support the Benelux direct market and the Nordics through distributor partners

You will develop and execute the overall commercial strategy and tactics for the Benelux and Nordics, aligned with EMEA and company goals

You will identify market opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze industry trends to drive growth and competitive advantage

You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and initiatives

You will manage P&L targets for the Netherlands & Nordics to optimize revenue and profitability

You will build and lead a high-performing commercial team, providing professional development opportunities and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented culture

You will drive outstanding sales results and manage external sales and operations teams

You will work closely with distributor partners to maximize Dexcom brand equity and messages appropriate for their markets

You will prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management highlighting commercial achievements, challenges, and recommendations.


What Makes You Successful:

You have medical devices experience and fluency in the EU reimbursement model (preferred)

You have a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing commercial strategies in a senior role

You possess strong business acumen and market knowledge with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities

You have excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to attract new talents and motivate and inspire others to achieve targets

You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and negotiate effectively with clients, partners, and stakeholders both internal and external

You are proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

You have a strong network within the Benelux diabetes community and KOL network (and Nordics ideally)

You are business fluent in English, with Dutch language skills preferred

You are willing to travel 50 to 75%.

50 to 75%
Experience and Education Requirements:

You have 15+ years of industry experience and 9+ years of successful management experience in the relevant industry, with strong experience in both markets (Benelux and Nordics)

You hold a Master’s degree and MBA (preferred).
