SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The Sr. Director of Architecture - Enterprise Digital Infrastructure provides visionary leadership to align technology investments with corporate goals. This role utilizes education, guidance, and governance to maximize ROI, reduce time to capability, and minimize operational costs. The senior director will strategize, build infrastructure capabilities, and lead enterprise-wide change initiatives, technical leadership, and team development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with service and business owners to develop an enterprise architecture and technology plan.
  • Experience creating a PCI compliant environment or merging companies into a single PCI environment.
  • Leading an organization through PCI audits and providing strategic roadmaps for compliance.
  • Coordinate with the AVP of Enterprise Architecture to ensure digital infrastructure services are consistent and aligned.
  • Work with IT service leaders to develop plans that drive digital infrastructure strategies at a corporate level.
  • Set measurable objectives aligned with business goals, conduct performance assessments, and manage staffing, diversity, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure staff has resources and skills for initiatives, forecast new skill requirements, and collaborate on strategic advice for digital infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to define a comprehensive digital infrastructure strategy and roadmap.

This includes:

  • Creating and leading a vision for enterprise infrastructure architecture in a regulated environment, including PCI DSS and other compliance concerns.
  • Supporting future states and roadmaps compliant with PCI DSS 4.0, NIST, and other GRC standards to mitigate risks and ensure compliance readiness.
  • Formulating a cohesive digital infrastructure architecture strategy that aligns with organizational goals, including cloud interoperability, network, compute, storage, data centers, IoT, and fleet services.
  • Reviewing strategies with business and data leaders to maintain consistency and understanding of digital infrastructure impacts.
  • Developing and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks for digital infrastructure and leading related teams.
  • Expanding the use of digital infrastructure capabilities as strategic enablers for global and local benefits.
  • Managing Capex and Opex financials for the service area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as an architect guiding organizational technology direction and platform selection.
  • Leadership experience managing architecture teams and influencing executives.
  • Ability to manage multiple architecture projects and plan resource use effectively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and self-motivation skills.
  • Business acumen and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and experience using data for decision-making.
  • Experience managing teams and understanding architecture best practices.
  • Knowledge of IT, OT, domain, and business architecture.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies for business value realization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in relevant fields.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience architecting enterprise-level solutions.
  • Travel and transportation domain experience or relevant technology expertise.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Skills spanning multiple architecture domains including business, application, technical, and data architecture.
