Job Summary

In this highly visible role in the Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Capital Analytics team within Corporate Actuarial and Risk Management (CARM), you will be responsible for optimizing ALM, capital efficiency, liquidity risk, and cash flow management. You will also provide investment advice and hedging recommendations, leading a team of senior professionals and shaping enterprise investment and capital strategy.

This role involves contributing to group-level strategy development, providing thought leadership on enterprise initiatives, and influencing executive stakeholders. You will bring a corporate perspective to business challenges, foster innovation, mentor future leaders, and improve risk and capital management practices.

Occasional travel may be required for planning, team building, or conferences.

Skills and Background
  • Collaboration across Investment Management, Actuarial Modeling, Business Units, Corporate Finance, and Accounting to develop integrated decision frameworks that align investment strategy with insurance risk, capital, and product dynamics.
  • Influencing enterprise risk and financial outcomes by aligning ALM and investment strategies with corporate objectives, evaluating complex financial risks, and creating innovative solutions.
  • Encouraging professionalism, collaboration, ownership of results, and technical innovation.
  • Shaping strategic direction for ALM, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and hedging strategies.
  • Partnering with Investment teams to develop asset allocation frameworks supporting capital needs and risk tolerance.
  • Supporting product design, pricing, risk evaluation, and financial performance with Business Units.
  • Leading development of frameworks to optimize risk-adjusted returns via asset allocation, ALM, and capital efficiency.
  • Providing capital forecasting insights and leading strategic analyses related to investment income and capital outcomes.
  • Championing initiatives to improve ALM and capital analytics, tools, and governance.
  • Guiding cross-functional collaboration to incorporate economic capital concepts into enterprise practices.

Benefits and Compensation
