Job summary

Bancroft's Lakeside Campus in Monroeville, NJ is hiring a Senior Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities. This onsite, full-time role supports daily living, safety, and vocational activities within the Lakeside Program.

Responsibilities include supervising participants, guiding skill-building, and stepping in when the Program Manager is away.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; BA in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of related work experience, or six months as a Bancroft Program Associate.

The current hiring range for this position is: $19.61-$20.00per hour. Plus additional incentives.

We are looking for Direct Support Professionals that are passionate about providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. Our Direct Support Professionals must have a strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

About the Position:

Provides supervision, guidance, instruction, and/or skill building to assigned persons served within a specific Program site regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interaction with others.

Provides supervision to direct care staff and is in charge of Program site activities in absence of Program Manager.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required with additional education in a related field desirable. BA in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of related work experience, or a minimum of 6 months experience as a Program Associate in the Bancroft organization required.
