Job summary

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Lakeside Program in Mullica Hill, NJ. This onsite role covers the 2nd shift (Thursday and Friday 2p-10p, Saturday 8a-10p; 30 hours full time) to support autistic and developmentally challenged individuals.

You’ll empower clients while upholding Bancroft's mission and values. The current hiring range is $19.61–$20.00 per hour with additional incentives, with responsibilities across daily living activities, safety, and community

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; BA in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience, or at least 6 months as a Program Associate within Bancroft.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide persons served on daily living, safety, and vocational activities.
• Supervise direct care staff and lead program site activities in manager's absence.

Responsibilities

About the Position:

Provides supervision, guidance, instruction, and/or skill building to assigned persons served within a specific Program site regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interaction with others.

Provides supervision to direct care staff and is in charge of Program site activities in absence of Program Manager.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required with additional education in a related field desirable. BA in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of related work experience, or a minimum of 6 months experience as a Program Associate in the Bancroft organization required.
