About the Role

The Sr. Director, HR Business Partner - Manufacturing, is a strategic leader responsible for driving HR KPIs and initiatives across manufacturing. As a key member of the HR Leadership Team, this role partners with the COO and executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that improve organizational effectiveness, enhance employee experience, and foster a high-performance culture. The role oversees a team across seven locations, ensuring HR practices align with business goals and promote engagement, inclusion, and operational excellence.

This position requires a high level of business acumen, strategic application of enterprise mindset, and data analytics to support manufacturing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing leadership, influencing decision-making and organizational growth.
  2. Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness: Lead change initiatives, promoting cultural transformation and effective change adoption.
  3. Data-Driven Insights & Workforce Planning: Use HR analytics and industry insights to develop proactive talent strategies.
  4. Employee Advocacy & Culture Building: Promote a positive employee experience through engagement and conflict resolution.
  5. Talent Development & Succession Planning: Develop leadership pipelines and address skill gaps with targeted programs.
  6. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging: Drive DEIB initiatives to foster an inclusive culture.
  7. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR practices adhere to laws and policies.
  8. Union Relations: Lead labor negotiations and conflict resolution.
  9. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a dispersed HR team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

About You

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Business, or related field (required).
  • Certifications in Labor Relations or SHRM-SCP (preferred). PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of HR leadership, including manufacturing and union environments.

Total Rewards

The estimated annual pay range is $199,843.20 - $249,804.00, bonus eligible. Compensation will be based on experience and skills. The package includes:
