Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking an experienced Architect within WWT Digital to design large-scale digital experience solutions. You will lead complex technical engagements, guide delivery teams, and translate visionary concepts into actionable plans that accelerate customer transformation.

This role pairs hands-on prototyping with APIs, SDKs, and platforms with strategic oversight to steer multi-disciplinary teams toward measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Twelve+ years of software engineering experience with leadership roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with backend distributed systems, mobile app development, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript web platforms.
• Hands-on experience with emergent AI coding practices using LLM-based coding tools.
• Experience in native app architecture and deployment in a major cloud environment — Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices; excellent communication.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, inspire teams, and drive innovative outcomes under tight timelines.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $110,000 to $137,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.
