M9 Solutions seeks a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer I to support a government contract in Washington, DC.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and focuses on building secure, automated CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments to support .NET applications. You will mentor development teams on secure coding practices, ensure security is embedded throughout the lifecycle, and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• BA/BS in an IT-related field; relevant experience may be substituted.
• Certification meeting DoD 8140 (Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, or higher).
• 5+ years of DevSecOps Engineer experience.
• Experience in enterprise security platforms, secure package management, and DevSecOps CI/CD in on-prem and cloud.

Responsibilities

M9 Solutions is seeking a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer I to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building and maintaining secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and implementing security best practices for .NET frameworks to support application operations.
• Ensure integration of security throughout the development and operations lifecycle.
• Provide advanced technical capability to mentor development teams on secure coding practices, strengthen application security posture, and maintain compliance with the client’s requirements.
• Establish and maintain a high level of client trust and confidence with knowledge and skills, and use creativity to provide innovative solutions that fit the client’s needs.
• This position is designated as essential personnel supporting continuity of operations and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• BA/BS in an IT-related field; relevant experience may be substituted.
• Certification meeting DoD 8140 (e.g., Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, or higher).
• 5+ years of DevSecOps Engineer experience, or similar.
• Experience in the design, deployment, operations, and maintenance of enterprise development security platforms, secure or vetted package management solutions, and DevSecOps CI/CD solutions in both on-premises and cloud environments across multiple levels of classification.
• Demonstrated experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.

Salary Range

$170,000—$220,000 USD
