Inspira Financial in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Sr. DevOps Engineer to modernize and scale its software delivery ecosystem.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and developer enablement. You will partner with Application, Platform, SRE, Security, and Architecture teams to create standardized, scalable, and self-service delivery solutions that reduce engineering friction and accelerate software delivery.

Formación

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure and cloud-native technologies.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD platforms.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices.
  • Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
  • Proven experience collaborating across Engineering, Platform, Security, and Architecture teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives, influence engineering practices, and establish standards across multiple teams.

Responsabilidades

  • Design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Drive adoption of standardized delivery patterns, reusable templates, and engineering best practices across teams.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud-native platform capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering teams to modernize build, test, deployment, and release processes throughout the SDLC.
  • Improve developer experience through automation, self-service capabilities, and reduced operational toil.
  • Integrate security, compliance, observability, and governance controls into delivery pipelines.
  • Support containerized and cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes and modern deployment strategies.
  • Establish engineering metrics and continuous improvement practices using DORA, reliability, and developer productivity metrics.
  • Influence architecture, platform, and delivery standards across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Mentor engineers and champion a culture of automation, standardization, and engineering excellence.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to modernize and scale our software delivery ecosystem by improving developer productivity, reliability, and engineering efficiency. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and developer enablement. You will partner with Application Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and Architecture teams to create standardized, scalable, and self-service delivery solutions that reduce engineering friction and accelerate software delivery.

  • Experience with GitOps, observability, and developer productivity initiatives.
  • Experience establishing enterprise engineering standards and best practices.
  • Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, or related certifications.
Pay Range

$100,200-$137,000 per year

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
