Rite-Hite Digital Solutions Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with engineering teams to ensure system performance and security while promoting DevOps best practices.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of relevant experience, you will work in a dynamic environment that values innovation. Comprehensive benefits include medical coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off.
At Rite-Hite, your work makes an impact. As the global leader in loading dock and door equipment, we design and deliver solutions that keep our customers safe, secure, and productive. Here you’ll find innovation, stability, and the chance to grow your career as part of a team that’s always looking ahead.
Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines that support automated build, test, and deployment workflows using GitLab CI/CD and standardized Git workflows. Develop and maintain reusable pipeline templates, infrastructure modules, and automation patterns that enable consistent and efficient delivery across teams. Continuously improve deployment speed, reliability, and quality through automation and tooling enhancements.
Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Deploy, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), ensuring high availability, scalability, and resilience. Package and manage Kubernetes applications using Helm charts and established deployment standards. Collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud-native application architectures and runtime requirements.
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system performance, availability, and operational visibility (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring). Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to restore service and prevent recurrence. Contribute to fault‑tolerant and resilient system designs that support production reliability and operational excellence.
Apply secure‑by‑design principles across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and Kubernetes environments, including secrets management, access controls, and least‑privilege IAM. Collaborate with security and platform stakeholders to integrate vulnerability scanning, configuration hardening, and compliance requirements into delivery workflows. Support organizational security, audit, and compliance initiatives by ensuring infrastructure and deployment processes are auditable, repeatable, and well‑documented.
Work closely with software engineers, QA, and platform stakeholders to understand delivery needs and remove friction from the development lifecycle. Document infrastructure designs, deployment patterns, operational procedures, and architectural decisions to support knowledge sharing and long‑term maintainability. Promote DevOps best practices, automation‑first thinking, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
This role does not have direct reports but is expected to provide technical leadership, guidance, and enablement across multiple engineering teams.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field required; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles supporting production systems. Experience operating cloud‑native environments and supporting modern software delivery pipelines.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will directly influence the reliability, security, and scalability of platforms that support thousands of customers and critical industrial operations. You’ll work alongside talented engineers, product leaders, and platform teams to build modern, cloud‑native systems with real‑world impact—bridging digital innovation with physical environments where safety and uptime matter most.
